What a visit includes

Standard clean

Regular upkeep for a home that is cleaned on a schedule.

  • Dust tables, shelves, dressers, and windowsills within reach.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs. Sweep and mop hard floors.
  • In the kitchen, wipe the counters and backsplash, clean the stovetop, scrub the sink, and take out the trash.
  • Clean the outside of the appliances, and the inside of the microwave.
  • In the bathrooms, clean the toilet, tub, shower, sink, and mirrors.
  • Wipe light switches and door handles. Make the beds if the linens are left out.

Deep clean

The first visit for every new recurring client. It includes the standard clean, plus the work below. Later visits use the recurring price.

  • Clean the inside of the appliances: the oven, and the refrigerator if it has been emptied.
  • Degrease the range hood and the area around the stove. Wipe the cabinet fronts.
  • Scrub grout, soap scum, and hard-water buildup in the bathroom.
  • Hand-wipe baseboards, trim, doors, and window frames.
  • Dust light fixtures, ceiling fans, and vents within safe reach. Spot-clean marks on the walls.
  • Clean the inside of the windows and vacuum the tracks.
  • Vacuum and mop behind and under furniture where it can be moved safely. Vacuum upholstery and under the cushions.

Travel, kept separate

One travel fee per trip. It is not folded into the cleaning price. The travel fee is $1.50 per mile. Anything within 5 miles of the Sterling city limits is free.
